Delivery of the bookcases and CD shelves ...
... was delayed from Monday to Sunday (i.e. today). But when they came, I realised to my horror that they were stained in the wrong colour. The furniture maker said that re-staining the timber wouldn't do, so he offered to re-make them. They should be ready for delivery by the coming weekend. Fingers crossed.
